Lady Olga Maitland
Founder and President
As President of DSF, Lady Olga spent her career at the heart of matters: in her earlier career, she held a private audience with Ronald Reagan in the Oval Office, met with Pope John in the Vatican, and met with head of the Soviet Peace Committee Genrikh Borovik in Moscow. She led a DSF delegation that was received by Margaret Thatcher at 10 Downing Street in 1984.

Major General Patrick Cordingley
Chairman
He was given command of the 7th Armoured Brigade (Desert Rats) in 1988 and, in 1991, led the brigade during the Gulf War. He became General Officer Commanding Eastern District in 1992, General Officer Commanding 2nd Division in 1995 and Senior British Loan Services Officer to Oman in 1996. Cordingley published a book detailing his leading the troops into Iraq titled In The Eye of the Storm: Commanding 7th Armoured Brigade in the Gulf War, which rose to the top of the non-fictional bestseller lists.
Sir John Wheeler
Deputy Chairman
Wheeler was elected as Conservative MP for the marginal constituency of Paddington at the 1979 general election. After 1987, Wheeler was made Chair of the Home Affairs Select Committee. Wheeler was subsequently appointed to the government, serving as Security Minister at the Northern Ireland Office; he was also made a member of the Privy Council in 1993. He was knighted in the New Year's Honours list of 1990.
Lord Lamont of Lerwick
Vice President
Norman Lamont was a Cabinet Minister under Margaret Thatcher and John Major, and a member of the House of Commons for twenty-five years. He was Chancellor of the Exchequer at a particularly difficult time that included Britain’s exit from the ERM. The problems he faced were similar to those facing Britain today.
In 2008, David Cameron asked Norman Lamont with other former Chancellors to be part of a team to advise on Britain’s financial problems. Norman Lamont was Britain’s Chief Negotiator at the Maastricht Treaty and secured Britain’s non-participation in the Euro

During 12 years at top 20 global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright, Camilla led the strategic development and implementation of marketing and business development initiatives for the infrastructure, mining and commodities industry group. Operating in a complex international matrix organization, she worked with culturally diverse teams to drive brand building, opportunity pursuit and revenue generation across our business, with a particular focus on developing and communicating market insights.
